Lockheed Martin Gift Boxes

These are employee recognition gifts that were sent to the Lockheed Martin space team — about 21,000 people — over two years. The purpose was to thank them for their efforts and continued loyalty during the COVID-19 pandemic. For the first year, every item in the gift, including the box, was designed by myself. It included a tumbler, pair of socks, moon lamp, paperweight, and letter from the VP of the division. Of special note is the paperweight, which includes a custom 3D engraving of the solar system.

For the second year, the gift included only one item: a personal telescope. This time the box was the only item that I was asked to design, but I think that the box design was more successful than in year one. The black and white design was better at communicating the serious tone of the Lockheed Martin space mission.
